Senior Web Developer (PHP)
ROLE
To handle information at the scale of the web requires ideas from just about every area of computer science, including information retrieval, large-scale system design, networking, security, data compression, user interface design, etc. Developers are expected to produce quick and accurate solutions to challenging problems.
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Computer Science
- 2+ years of web development experience
- Mastery of the LAMP development (PHP, MySQL, Javascript/AJAX, XHTML, CSS, XML)
- Should have deep knowledge of OOP
- Familiarity with XML and associated technologies
- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with teammates, and manage time to meet project timeline.
- Candidate should be able to handle all stages of web development that includes coding, development, testing and implementations.
Senior Web Designer
ROLE
To design & create high-quality front-end websites including new web interfaces conforming to web 2.0 standards. Designers are expected to meet aggressive deadlines to ensure timely project deliveries.
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree
- 2+ years of web design experience
- Must have a keen eye for pixel accuracy and a hardcore desire to implement tight designs
- Strong knowledge of user-interface design, web page layout and navigation methodology
- Strong CSS, JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, and knowledge of ActionScript
- Proficiency with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment, sharing ideas, critiquing work, receiving feedback and direction
- Advanced Flash ActionScript knowledge is a plus
